Corporate Mission
The corporate mission of eBookMatrix Publishing Corporation
("eBookMatrix") is to become one of the premier providers of digital literary, educational and professional publications by building a first class B2B electronic publishing infrastructure.
eBookMatrix Publishing Corporation
eBookMatrix has been in the process of amassing a valuable digital library by providing publishers and literary rights holders with a complete, fully-integrated electronic publishing solution. eBookMatrix acquired its own low-cost offshore digitization plant, Green Apple Information Technology Co., Limited ("Green Apple") in Changsha, China three years ago. Green Apple and its predecessor
have an impressive 13-year operating history in the electronic conversion and data entry business. Green Apple owns a digitized Chinese library of about 15 GB of stored data, which
is roughly 30 % of the entire 5,000 years of Chinese literature. The worldwide mankind recorded knowledge base is estimated at 1,000 GB of data.
Electronic data conversion, though extremely desirable, is often abandoned before the job is completed
- or the project is not even started - because the labor cost is prohibitive. eBookMatrix has assembled a team in China of over 300 intelligent, highly trained people. The
average employment period of these devoted employees is seven years.
As a result is that the conversion accuracy for the data entry services is 99.99%,
they work for about 1/3 of the current US domestic market rate.
Since its inception in 1989, eBookMatrix and its subsidiary, Green Apple, have successfully completed electronic conversion
of over 25 major newspapers in China (approximately ten million pages). eBookMatrix owns the marketing rights of Green
Apple's digital Chinese Library - by far the largest in the world [10,000 classical fiction and non-fiction titles,
China's 25 major newspapers (50 years daily circulation), about 20 leading periodicals, and two Chinese
encyclopedias. eBookMatrix generates revenues by distributing the pre-fabricated
CDs through Chinese domestic and overseas bookstore chains.
eBookMatrix officially entered the United States market since early
in the year 2001. Presently, eBookMatrix completed a demonstration project for the City of New York and some customized demonstrations for Dun & Bradstreet, Microsoft, Random House and others. With innovative proprietary software, eBookMatrix can convert not just text but also scientific notation, tables and mixed data (text plus graphics) including multi-color and multi-layer jobs such as newspapers and magazines.
Publications, books, documents and other data can be stored in standard PDF or other formats such as XML, HTML, OEB, LIT, Glassbook, and RCA Gemstar ebooks.
eBookMatrix has been and continuously will leverage its unique low cost production capability to acquire digital rights and convert a wide range of publications into eBooks for sale via established
online and offline retailers to the consumer and educational markets at very competitive prices. eBookMatrix combines its digital conversion expertise with secure digital rights management and fulfillment, print-on-demand infrastructure and an efficient distribution network to deliver a complete electronic publishing solution. eBookMatrix adds value to existing libraries by transforming static written content into dynamic digital content with full intelligent search and auto-update capabilities, hyperlinks, multimedia, and customizable user interfaces; and provides publishers and rights holders with new revenue streams through digital distribution. eBooks are stored, indexed, searched, downloaded to a PC or hand-held device at any time, from any Internet connection worldwide.
